Taste of Hartford, Winter Edition starts Monday, January 23rd. It is two weeks long and ends February 5th. Go to Taste of Hartford’s website for details. The menus are updated, and they are yum. $20.12 is really cheap!
Gourmet restaurants spread across the city will offer price fixed menu’s at $20.12
30 restaurants will feature their signature dishes.
Last Year #2 cheapster and Mr. cheap enjoyed a meal at Trumbull Kitchen, a real favorite.
Many Hartford favorites are participating, Trumbull Kitchen, Firebox, Feng, Hot Tomato’s, First and Last and Black Eyed Sally’s.
It’s a great time to try an upscale Restaurant which one normally can’t afford. Cheap may be too tacky a word for theses lovely establishments, Asian Bistro Feng, J Restaurant, Max Downtown.
Try a new funky place like Barca, Upscale wine and sandwich bar Bin 228, Down Home BBQ and Blues Black- Eyed Sally’s. The Firebox is known for its farm to table concept.
